Things to do

Red Bay Beach

Red Bay Beach on Lake Huron: soft sand, shallow water, cedars behind the shore and a playground at the far end

Red Bay Beach, Red Bay, Ontario

Red Bay Beach is on Symon Avenue in Red Bay, Ontario. A small number of parking spots are right at the park.

The park has a long pier extending into Lake Huron, a small parkette, picnic tables, seasonal washrooms and shade from many established trees. The feature is the beach itself, which extends a long way into Red Bay with a soft, shallow, sandy bottom.

The pier is a favourite place to watch the sunset.

Where to stay and eat

Red Bay Lodge is a short walk from the beach, in the woods. Cabins and lodge rooms include breakfast, and dogs stay free in the cabins. Dinner is by reservation.
