Fifteen cabins in the cedars, eight rooms over the hall. Every stay includes breakfast in the lodge and the communal firepit most evenings. Cabins take dogs; the lodge rooms stay pet free for anyone who’d rather they didn’t.
A queen bed, a bathroom of your own, a small fridge and a patio with chairs. The smallest of our fifteen cabins.
A queen bed and a single, so a third person, a child or a friend has a place of their own.
Two bedrooms and a private bath: the Hemlock and the Maple. Breakfast in the lodge for everyone in the party.
The Red Cedar and the White Cedar, our largest cabins: two bedrooms and a couch, sleeping up to five.
Eight rooms above the great hall, renovated in 2022: six with a king bed, two with a pair of doubles.

The lodge began as a fly-in fishing resort, a remote getaway on a peninsula few people knew. Many of the same cabins host our guests today, renovated with new doors, windows, floors and beds, and still standing among old cedars.
Walk west down the driveway and across Huron Road, and it is a short walk to a water access on Red Bay.

Good to know before you book
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check-in begins at 4 pm and check-out is at 11 am. When you leave, drop your keys in the basket at the front desk.
We'll arrive late. Will someone be there?
Yes, we meet guests at any hour. If you will arrive after 9 pm, please send us an ETA so we can plan to greet you.
Is breakfast included?
Yes, a breakfast is included with every stay. Hours change through the season, so please ask us for today's hours.
Can I bring my dog?
Yes. Dogs stay free in our cabins. Pets are not permitted in the lodge rooms or inside the dining room, but they are very welcome on the patio.
Can we have a barbecue?
No barbecues or cooking, indoors or out. S'mores at the shared fire pit, lit most evenings, are the one exception.
Is there Wi-Fi?
Yes, free, open Wi-Fi with no password. The signal is strongest in the main lodge.
Does it have air conditioning?
Every cabin has air conditioning. The lodge rooms are not air conditioned, but they have fans and windows that open.
What's your cancellation policy?
More than 48 hours before arrival you are refunded everything. Inside 48 hours the first-night deposit is kept. We can also move your stay instead of cancelling, and bookings made on Airbnb, Booking.com or Expedia follow that site's policy.
